Advance your career as a full-time emergency medicine physician on our team at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Stockton, California. This is a Level 3 Trauma Center that sees an annual volume of 100k with 80-90 ambulance arrivals daily. It is a 64 bed ED with two trauma rooms and two full resuscitation bays.
There are 90 hours of physician coverage daily, 10 hour shifts and 60 hours of APC coverage daily, 10 hour shifts. Some highlights of St. Joseph's Medical Center are the door to balloon time is 20-22 minutes if they start at Joes, 40-45 min if coming from local outside source, a TAVR suite, a Therapeutic Cardiac Cath labs and is the leading cardiology program in Northern California. In July 2018, they began an emergency medicine residency program with the third class starting July 2020. The qualified physician will be ABEM certified or eligible.
